What it is
The Stomach of prey costs 250 minerals and has a sixteen-second creation time. Its official role is “A mineral processing bio-workshop. The mutants' primary economic building.” The configuration adds 300 storage, while its health record carries 1 400 base hit points, a 50-point reserve capacity and 0 armour. Fire and area coefficients are 0.5 and −0.2 in build 23882143; they are recorded values, not damage multipliers established here. A linked Refinery component also records mineral unloading parameters. Its economic role is therefore supported by more than the description alone.
Where it comes from
Its sixteen-second creation time and 250-mineral price belong to the Stomach’s own configuration in build 23882143. They do not by themselves prove that a Mutant opening is always earlier or more efficient than an Empire opening. The building’s Refinery component records unloading and mineral storage, whereas construction price and added storage are separate fields. This distinction matters when comparing economies: placing a workshop, bringing a collector to it and processing cargo are different steps. A low creation time cannot stand in for a complete income calculation.
How it is actually used
Plan the Stomach around the collector’s delivery route rather than its creation time alone. Its area coefficient is −0.2; that number does not establish extra artillery damage. The 300 storage addition is useful to track alongside your current stock, but a larger ceiling is not new mineral income. The linked unloading component supports the processing role described by the developer. Check the Big collector page when arranging access to the workshop, and judge protection by the approach and surrounding force without assigning a universal economic ranking.
How to beat it
The Stomach’s fire and area coefficients are 0.5 and −0.2, but neither value proves that a flame weapon or artillery exceeds its listed damage. Its mineral-processing role is the concrete reason to consider it as a target. Look at collector access, stored resources and other economic buildings before spending a raid on it. An attack can threaten this part of the supply chain without necessarily ending all Mutant income. The useful comparison is between the processing route you can disrupt and the combat force defending it, not an unsupported claim that it is the softest building in the game.
