What it is

Generator costs 100 minerals and produces 120 energy in game build 23882143. The official description reads: “A standard, somewhat older, solid fuel generator. Increases grid power.” Its hull has 400 base HP, 50 extra-HP capacity initially empty, and uniform 4 armour; area resistance is 0.0. The recorded 120 energy output is a capacity contribution, not an extracted fuel-consumption rate. Its prefab has no direct main-attack link in this snapshot, but that scoped observation is not a claim about every possible runtime effect. The Master's Outpost is a separate energy-producing configuration with an attached weapon.

Where it comes from

The Empire Power station produces 250 energy for 150 minerals, while its Lightweight generator produces 80 for 60. In build 23882143, the Rebels' Generator costs 100, has 400 base HP and uniform 4 armour, compared with the Power station's 450 HP and 7 armour. These comparisons identify distinct economic and hull records, not a faction-wide efficiency ranking. Production availability, supporting functions and the actual network need also matter. The official old solid-fuel description does not establish fuel delivery or an operating cost absent from these fields.

How it is actually used

The Generator's 120 energy output is below the Master's Outpost's 300, even though the outpost costs the same 100 minerals and carries a cannon. That is a reason to compare available options, not proof that the Generator is always an inferior opening. Its 400 base HP and separate prefab describe another structure with its own availability context. Build it to meet an identified network need when that configuration is available, and avoid converting the energy figure into an undocumented number of factories or a continuous fuel budget.

How to beat it

Uniform 4 armour and the Generator's 120 energy contribution describe a relatively light economic target at 100 minerals, but do not establish a hit count or an automatic network collapse. The Master's Outpost contributes 300 energy and has a linked cannon, so the choice between them involves both economic output and defensive fire. Their recorded area-resistance fields are 0.0 and 0.0; equal coefficients do not make their entire hulls equivalent. Target the source supporting the opponent's current network, and verify the surrounding weapons rather than assuming every energy building is unarmed.
