What it is
In build 23882143, Observation tower has no mineral price and adds 30 energy. The official description reads: “Observation post for control over the territory.” Its hull has 400 base HP, 50 extra-HP capacity initially empty, and area resistance 0.3. Front and rear armour fields are 7 and 0, but directional armour is disabled. Its linked Security action lists three Riflemen squads, even though the shared ability description promises more. The local page correction dated 4 September 2026 is preserved in the repository history; it does not prove when the corrected page became publicly visible.
Where it comes from
Both this tower and the Mutant Observant sprout add 30 energy. The sprout has 484 base HP and 50 storage in build 23882143, while the Rebels' tower has 400 base HP against the sprout's 484 and no storage output. Its front-armour field is 7, but directional armour is disabled. Their shared Security description also masks different spawn lists: Riflemen here and Worms at the sprout. These are separate prefab-bound effects, not evidence that the structures are interchangeable or that every building in the faction follows one armour pattern.
How it is actually used
Each listed Riflemen squad has 800 base HP and 500 extra-HP capacity, initially empty. The local correction of 4 September 2026 established that the tower's Security action can provide defenders; the spawn list is not proof of automatic reinforcements whenever the tower is attacked. Its area resistance 0.3 and the factories' 0.0 are stored coefficients, not a verified durability ranking. Choose a position where observation and the callable infantry both have a purpose. The ability has its own mineral price and cooldown, so a tower with no mineral construction price is not free defence.
How to beat it
The tower's 450 HP total includes initially empty extra capacity; its 30 energy contribution sits alongside its callable defenders. The repository correction dated 4 September 2026 records its callable Riflemen, whose individual attack has 50 simple derived infantry DPS. Their arrival and ability availability are not guaranteed just because an attacker approaches. Account for the linked Security action when deciding whether to attack or bypass the position, and check the defenders' target rules. Neither the HP total nor the DPS figure proves that a lone attacker cannot finish the tower before reinforcements act.
