What it is
Enhanced health acknowledges side effects without naming them in its description: “a complex of modifications for living organisms that increases overall survivability. Side effects are present.” Confirmed by the game files, build 23882143. Its effect fields give a concrete answer: a maximum-hit-point gain accompanies a gas-resistance reduction. This is a difference between the short description and full record, not missing data. Other infantry-targeted modules include the fireproof suit and bulletproof vests, whose description calls their protection disposable.
Where it comes from
The phrase “living organisms”, rather than “soldiers”, is the developer’s own and differs from the Empire’s usual military vocabulary. Confirmed by the game files, build 23882143. That wording alone does not establish an additional mechanic. The fireproof suit describes fire protection and bulletproof vests disposable protection without replacement. Enhanced health has a less specific description, but its numerical effects are recorded separately: a maximum-health gain and a gas-resistance reduction.
How it is actually used
Empire Brutes cost 35 minerals and five population, making their protection relevant when comparing army composition. The module records +300 maximum hit points and −0.6 gas resistance. The phrase “side effects are present” does not conceal an unidentified effect: the field names gas resistance. The developer described the squad model on 10 February 2026, but that announcement alone does not establish whether the bonus applies to each soldier or the squad as a whole. Choosing for the threats faced remains an interpretation.
How to beat it
The Empire flamethrower turret reaches 369.2 calculated damage per second against infantry, but that figure does not determine the result against a specific modified squad. The recorded trade is a gain of 300 maximum hit points and a gas-resistance decrease of 0.6, build 23882143. Until 4 September 2026, this section denied those fields. Consider gas separately, without deriving final damage from its raw resistance alone. Brutes at 1 900 combined hit points for 35 minerals provide a baseline comparison; the fight has not been tested here.
