What it is

BREM costs 100 minerals and 10 population. Its official description states “The primary repair vehicle. Capable of repairing vehicles and restoring damaged super-heavy vehicles.” In demo build 23882143, it has 500 base hit points, uniform armour of 25 and an area-resistance coefficient of 0.7. A repair ability is linked to its prefab, together with an upgrade-controlled support call. The inspected links do not include a direct attack weapon. That is a reason to protect its working position, not a proof that every nearby vehicle is repaired automatically or that the resistance coefficient guarantees survival in a battle.

Where it comes from

The developer described Empire wreck recovery as “the Industrial Empire's vehicle wrecks stand out for their ability to restore destroyed super-heavy vehicles using a special repair unit, and preserving these expensive machines.” He also wrote “I just could not implement them in time for the demo.” about repair features that had not made the demo. The wreck explanation dates to 10 February 2026; the repair note is from 22 June 2026. BREM’s official description names restoration of damaged super-heavy vehicles, while its linked ability supplies repair parameters. Keep that restoration role distinct from routine repairs and from planned interface features. The Repairing page explains the command and its data; an announcement about plans does not prove later implementation.

How it is actually used

The archived demo note says repair auto-cast or mass selection was planned. Check the repair command instead of assuming BREM will select a damaged vehicle by itself. A Dreadnought costs 700 minerals, compared with BREM’s 100; preserving a valuable chassis is a reason to consider support, not a guaranteed payback from any repair. Bring the vehicle to an accessible working position and watch the threat to it. Wreck restoration has its own conditions, so consult the repair and super-heavy vehicle pages before treating every destroyed machine as recoverable.

How to beat it

A Riflemen squad costs 40 minerals and BREM costs 100, but those prices do not prove that the vehicle should repair infantry or that early support is always wasteful. Its described job is vehicle repair and super-heavy recovery. Attacking a working BREM may reduce support, yet it does not turn every damaged enemy vehicle into a permanent loss: other repair sources can remain. Assess access, escort and the machine being repaired before choosing a target. The Repairing and Repair site pages help distinguish a targeted command from nearby repair support.
