Damage per second = damage ÷ fire cycle, computed by the build script.
What it is
Turret “AK-30” costs 130 minerals, 50 energy and 20 population. The official description states “A versatile turret capable of engaging infantry and shooting down low-flying enemy aircraft. It can be moved.” Demo build 23882143 records 600 base hit points and uniform armour of 25. The deployment component explicitly enables or disables the attack when changing state, and an energy component is linked to that weapon. This is a defence whose position and operating state need attention, not a guarantee of shooting during relocation merely because the attack’s movement flag is enabled. Check Deployment and the local movement upgrade before shifting a firing line.
Where it comes from
The developer’s post confirmed defensive construction: “Yes, you will be able to build trenches and other defensive structures in this demo.” That statement dates to 15 June 2026. Turret AK-30 is represented by a unit configuration with population cost and a deployment link, explaining why its page sits among units. The announcement does not certify every turret’s movement or firing behaviour. For this entry, the deployment actions and local upgrade provide the more specific evidence. Read them alongside the construction requirement rather than treating a general promise of defences as an unlimited mobile gun.
How it is actually used
Turret AK-30 has a calculated infantry output of 225 damage per second on a 0.4-second cycle. Base range is 16 with a separate bonus of 10. These are weapon parameters before target protection and operating-state checks. Each turret uses 20 population; the existing catalogue comparison gives 80 for a group, without establishing an optimal army size. Place the defence where it has a useful line of fire, then verify deployment and energy. Relocating a weapon that is disabled in mobile state needs a new firing position, not a promise of continuous fire along the route.
How to beat it
The calculated vehicle output is 50 damage per second and armour is 25. Neither number establishes that armour always wins against this defence. Against Turret AK-30, inspect its state and energy as well as the attackers’ weapons. The combined range figure 26 describes a weapon calculation, not a guaranteed safe boundary for every approach. Avoid feeding infantry into an active firing lane, but account for cover, support and deployment when choosing another route. The turret and Deployment pages explain which parts of the defence remain available after relocation.
