Damage per second = damage ÷ fire cycle, computed by the build script.

What it is

TV costs 80 minerals and 6 population. Its official description states “Another vehicle from the past. The mercenary version includes more powerful armor and a 50mm autocannon.” Build 23882143 records 450 base hit points, frontal armour 15 and side/rear armour 5. The cannon’s calculated infantry output is 144.4 damage per second on a 0.9-second cycle, before target protection. The raw movement and cannon are separate components, and the weapon cannot fire while moving. Choose a position with support and a route for repositioning; the description’s modified armour does not identify a universal counter or a guaranteed production route.

Where it comes from

The wording “The mercenary version” belongs to TV’s official description in build 23882143. It describes a modification without supplying a date, an earlier specification or a verified manufacturing history. Its calculated infantry output is 144.4 damage per second, matching the catalogue figure for an Empire Outpost cannon, while TV costs 80 minerals. That shared figure does not make the vehicle and building interchangeable. Read the weapon and mercenary pages for the different movement, protection and access questions rather than turning the description into an invented lineage.

How it is actually used

Calculated output is 144.4 against infantry and 50.0 against vehicles per second. The area-resistance coefficient −0.30 is a defensive setting without a documented formula; its negative sign does not certify increased splash damage. Mobile support camp uses 45 population, but its weapons, production and healing have different roles from TV’s cannon. Choose the vehicle for the target and position you need, while leaving room to stop for fire and move again. A price comparison does not establish that replacement is always preferable to preserving a damaged machine.

How to beat it

The area coefficient −0.30 does not establish an artillery advantage by itself. Infantry output 144.4 is a cycle calculation, not a guarantee that an infantry approach fails. Frontal armour 15 differs from side/rear armour 5; use that distinction alongside visibility, weapon damage and access. Armour 15 also does not specify the number of hits required. The inability to fire while moving is relevant to repositioning, but nearby support may cover that movement. Consult the armour and weapon pages before choosing direct fire, a flank or an area attack.
