What it is

The Big collector costs 200 minerals and 10 population, with a fourteen-second production time. Its official description states “The Mutant Harvester is a large, slow-moving barge with an impressive capacity for transporting materials. It is the mutants' primary economic unit.” In build 23882143, its health record carries 2 700 base hit points, reserve capacity 50, uniform armour 15, and fire, gas and area coefficients 0.6, −0.5 and 0.5. The harvesting component supports its economic role. A separate movement record and damage-driven spawn link are also present, so the collector must not be described as having no movement data or no possible response under any circumstances.

Where it comes from

The Empire Combine’s configuration costs 100 minerals and records 500 base hit points with front armour 15 in build 23882143. The Big collector’s combined health capacity is 2 750 with armour 15, compared with capacity 550 and front armour 15 for the Combine. These are capacity comparisons, not filled initial health pools or guaranteed survival times. Their listed production times and carrying components also differ. The Big collector’s price and capacity therefore need to be read alongside the route to a refinery, rather than as proof that the entire Mutant economy is faster or safer.

How it is actually used

The harvesting record has carrying capacity 460, while combined health capacity is 2 750 and armour 15. The official description calls the collector slow-moving, and a movement component is present; omitting speed from a generated table is not proof that the source lacks it. Choose resource and refinery placement with the travel route in view. Capacity alone does not measure income per second, since travel, loading and unloading matter. Protecting the route may be more useful than counting on the health pool to survive every interruption, and replacement time is not the whole economic cost.

How to beat it

The Big collector costs 200 minerals compared with 100 for the Empire Combine, and has combined health capacity 2 750 behind armour 15. Its economic role can make harassment useful when you can interrupt a working resource route. However, a raw damage event links to the creation of Worms, so the lack of a conventional gun entry does not prove it can never produce a defensive response. Account for that link, nearby forces and replacement before committing. Its reserve capacity is not initially full, and neither price nor armour guarantees the value of every raid.
