Damage per second = damage ÷ fire cycle, computed by the build script.

What it is

Old tank costs 140 minerals and 15 population. The official description reads: “An old three-track tank assembled from scrap and parts of other tanks. Average performance, with a slight bias toward infantry.” Confirmed in game build 23882143. Its hull carries 600 base HP and directional armour of 20 at the front and 15 behind, plus extra-HP capacity that starts empty. Its mineral price sits above the Unicycle's 50 and below the cheaper Assault Truck's 190, but those comparisons do not establish their battlefield value. The Engine shop explicitly lists this configuration, whose cannon permits moving fire and has distinct damage fields for each target class.

Where it comes from

The cannon's simple derived DPS is 56.8 against infantry and 40.9 against vehicles, consistent with the description's slight infantry bias. These figures come from damage divided by the recorded aim-plus-reload cycle in build 23882143; they are not observed sustained damage in a match. Front armour is 20, and gas resistance is 1.00. The scrap-built origin is developer description, while the armour and weapon link are extracted facts. Neither source establishes a later upgrade path or proves immunity to gas, so those claims should remain separate from the unit's identity.

How it is actually used

The 650 HP total combines base HP and extra-HP capacity, which is initially empty. Front armour 20 and area resistance 0.50 should guide what to inspect, not an exact survival estimate: the resistance formula is not established here. The cannon permits moving fire, unlike the Unicycle's attack, and its target-class damage favours infantry. Use that particular combination when choosing a supporting vehicle from the Engine shop. Keep the weaker rear from becoming the default exposed face, and avoid treating a catalogue DPS figure as proof of a favourable duel.

How to beat it

Area resistance 0.50 does not establish a splash reduction percentage. Directional armour is 20 in front and 15 behind, so approach direction can matter; gas resistance 1.00 is another coefficient, not proof that gas is ineffective. The cannon has a 4.4-second derived aim-plus-reload cycle and permits moving fire. That timing can inform when to reposition, but it is not a promise that the target will stand still or miss. Compare your weapon's range, target-class damage and ability to track a moving tank before choosing an engagement.
