What it is

Heavy flamethrowers describes the anti-infantry equipment option for the Bronenosets: “Equips the tank with heavy flamethrowers. They set the surface on fire and inflict massive damage on infantry.” This is recorded in build 23882143. The word “massive” is qualitative, but the tank’s attached flame components also contain damage and timing values. It is therefore wrong to infer that the entire extraction has no measurable flame damage. At the same time, the component values alone do not establish how the upgrade activates them or whether other weapons remain active. Compare the local choice with the tank’s weapon records, keeping those questions separate.

Where it comes from

The word “Equips” describes equipment; it does not prove an unarmed base chassis in build 23882143. The extracted Bronenosets prefab already contains weapons linked to local choices. Environmental fire appears in the 2025 development material and in the patch notes of 22 June 2026, but those references should not be read as the full activation logic of this upgrade. The tank’s 1 300 base hit points and 1 300-point reserve describe its chassis, not a health bonus granted by Heavy flamethrowers.

How it is actually used

The clarification made on 4 September 2026 was that flame damage is present in the extracted components. Each linked Bronenosets flame weapon has a calculated anti-infantry output of 369.2 per second in build 23882143, matching the corresponding flame-tank and turret records. The chassis has 90 front armour, below the Gorb Tank’s 110. Its flame components store base range 10, with range modifiers recorded separately. These are component and chassis comparisons; they do not prove simultaneous firing, effective reach or a guaranteed result against infantry.

How to beat it

The Bronenosets has 1 300 base hit points, a 1 300-point reserve and 90 front armour; infantry should not assume the flame option makes that chassis easy to remove. The patch of 22 June 2026 changed environmental fire for garrisoned troops, which is relevant to shelter but not a blanket immunity to every attack. Its area-resistance coefficient of 0.5 is not a documented halving formula. The 1 300 base hit points and 1 300-point reserve remain chassis values whichever attachment is selected. Judge the position and active weapons rather than deriving a kill time from the resistance coefficient.
