What it is

Missile turrets describes equipment in one sentence: “The vehicle is equipped with missile turrets.” The entry belongs to build 23882143. The attached upgrade component links it to the Mobile support camp, so the host is not unknown merely because the description says vehicle. Its machine-gun alternative has a related attachment link, but similar sentences alone do not prove the full slot rules. The support vehicle also carries weapon components in the raw data. Use those records to compare equipment, while keeping theoretical component output separate from the incremental benefit of this local upgrade.

Where it comes from

Rafa’s missile record has calculated output 43.6 against vehicles and 33.3 against infantry in build 23882143. Those figures describe Rafa, not Missile turrets on the Mobile support camp. The Heavy transport vehicle has a projectile cycle of 6.6 seconds and a machine-gun cycle of 0.8; those are another unit’s timings. Weapon-family examples can explain why roles differ, but do not prove that this attachment is always anti-armour or slower than its counterpart. The direct host link is the reliable starting point for this upgrade.

How it is actually used

The Heavy transport vehicle’s machine gun has calculated anti-infantry output 62.5 and its projectile weapon anti-vehicle output 22.7. Marauder’s missile record instead has 47.6 against infantry and 33.3 against vehicles. These different units show why the word missile is not a sufficient target-priority rule for this upgrade. Missile turrets is linked to the Mobile support camp; consult that host’s weapon records and actual equipment before choosing it over the machine-gun option. Do not transfer the transport or mercenary outputs to the support camp.

How to beat it

Do not assume infantry automatically counters Missile turrets because the attachment uses rockets. Brutes at 35 minerals are a cheap infantry reference, not a guaranteed favourable trade against the Mobile support camp. The host has its own weapon and support components, so identify its active equipment and escort. A local upgrade description does not reveal the entire attack profile, and statistics of unrelated missile units cannot fill that gap. Consult the support camp page before committing a cheap squad simply on the basis of the weapon-family name.
