What it is
Mini crane adds construction capacity to its host: “A small crane-shaped extension opens an additional construction queue for the building. Two different buildings can be built simultaneously.” In build 23882143 it costs 100 minerals and ten seconds. The linked event acts on the Supply depot construction component, adding capacity there. This is important scope: the description does not prove that every building in the base can be constructed faster. Assess the depot’s actual production list and available resources before buying another queue. Additional capacity is useful only when the host has relevant work and the economy can support parallel production.
Where it comes from
The Empire Construction crane costs 230 minerals and forty seconds; the Mutant version costs 230 minerals, 120 energy and 50 gears over forty seconds in build 23882143. These are separate structures, not proof that Mini crane duplicates all their functions. The Empire crane has 500 base hit points and 7 armour. Those comparisons help identify the different objects, but the Mini crane’s own event points to Supply depot production capacity. Do not substitute the role of a full construction crane for the recorded host of this attachment.
How it is actually used
At 100 minerals and ten seconds, Mini crane has a different cost from the full Empire crane at 230 minerals and forty seconds. That price comparison does not establish an economy-wide acceleration. The upgrade’s linked event increases the Supply depot’s construction capacity, so its value depends on the depot’s queue and products. Repair Expansion concerns a separate construction-crane choice and does not prove that Mini crane trades away the same building. Buy the attachment for a concrete production bottleneck, not for a universal early-game multiplier.
How to beat it
The practical target is the Supply depot carrying the extra queue. The recorded effect increases that host’s construction capacity; it does not establish that the whole enemy base now produces everything faster. Disrupting the host or its resources can prevent parallel production from paying off, but the value of an attack depends on what it is actually building. Consult the Supply depot page for its production list and durability. This is a tactical reading of the linked event, not proof of a fixed raid frequency or inevitable economic advantage.
