What it is

Heavy turrets opens the AK-125. Its purpose is stated in the English description: “The AK-125 turret is effective against light, medium, and heavy vehicles. Its reinforced base provides increased strength, and its observation devices provide a greater range of engagement.” The source is build 23882143; research costs 1 000 minerals. For comparison, the Flamethrower turret as a building costs 150, and the Bunker costs 120. Research and construction are separate purchases. The description discusses light, medium and heavy vehicles, a reinforced base and observation equipment. It does not promise victory against every vehicle: range, firing cycle and the actual target’s defence still matter.

Where it comes from

The AK-125 costs 200 minerals and thirty seconds, with 700 base hit points and 30 armour, from build 23882143. Its weapon records base range 27.7, a 6.2-second cycle and calculated damage per second of 29.0 against vehicles and 53.2 against infantry. The phrase “reinforced base” describes its base. The Flamethrower turret costs 150, with 1 400 base hit points and 50 armour. These compare specific attributes. The weapon also carries an additional range field, so the base parameter must not be presented as a proven final engagement distance.

How it is actually used

A 6.2-second cycle and calculated 29 damage per second against vehicles describe the weapon’s tempo, not a guaranteed outcome. The recorded range of 27.7 is a base field; additional range must be considered separately. Our advice is to cover the approach and choose a position that limits encirclement. Its 700 base hit points and 30 armour do not make it a replacement for an entire defensive line. Equally, we cannot promise that it never holds a position alone: that depends on the attacking force and the circumstances.

How to beat it

The weapon has a 6.2-second cycle, but that does not guarantee that a push crosses its firing zone with little loss. Its area-resistance coefficient of 0.15 remains a source parameter rather than a proven measure of artillery effectiveness. With 30 armour, the turret’s survival still depends on attacking weapons. Calculated infantry damage is 53.2 per second, which belongs in a composition comparison. Our advice is to scout its support and possible bypasses rather than infer a successful assault from the cycle alone.
