Combine harvester reset

Confirmed Established — fromdocs/sources/demo/raw/AbilitiesRTS.AbilityConfig.json / HarvRefDrop, build 23882143

What it is

Combine harvester reset calls for an additional economic vehicle: “The transporter brings a new combine to the battlefield.” In build 23882143, this ordinary ability has a 60-second cooldown and costs 140 minerals. It is linked to the Processing plant, and Emergency call describes access when a factory order is not available. The ordinary call and the tactical entry point to the same spawn object, which records a Combine and an arrival-delay setting. Their cooldowns, price settings and availability remain separate; the common delivery object does not prove both calls are available in every mode.

Where it comes from

Emergency call explains the intended situation: “MPZs will be able to call in worker reinforcements in the form of an additional harvester. This is very useful if a harvester cannot be ordered at the factory.” The description belongs to build 23882143. It concerns access to another harvester when factory production cannot be used, not a restriction to replacing a destroyed machine. Maintainability and the harvester’s weapon upgrade are separate records with different purposes. Their presence does not establish how often harvesting is interrupted in real play. Read the Processing plant and Emergency call pages for the connection, then compare the tactical drop as a separate ability.

How it is actually used

The Combine costs 100 minerals and has 500 base hit points with 15 front armour in build 23882143. That describes the purchased vehicle, not the price or protection of the transporter. The call can add a harvester as well as replace a loss, provided the relevant ability is available. A BREM costs 100 minerals and has 500 base hit points with 25 front armour; repairing a surviving machine is a different option. Compare repair, factory production and this call according to the resources and access you currently have.

How to beat it

Do not assume that destroying a harvester ends income permanently. This call has a 60-second cooldown and costs 140 minerals, so replacement depends on availability and resources. The Big collector’s 200-mineral price is a comparison of another unit, not evidence that harassment costs the Mutants a fixed multiple. You can threaten harvesting routes or the Processing plant, but the outcome depends on the defenders and other production options. Use the economic unit pages to judge what the opponent can replace and protect.
