What it is

Aircraft pit costs 200 minerals and requires 30 energy. In build 23882143, its configuration adds 30 supply capacity. The official description is “Workshop for assembling aircraft from scrap.” The hull has 400 base HP, 50 extra-HP capacity initially empty, and uniform 7 armour; area resistance is 0.0. Its 30 energy requirement belongs to the economic record, not a measured rate of fuel consumption. The production list contains Battle Ball, and the prefab also links a healing-range component. Its raw target filters should be checked before interpreting the derived healing label as support for every vehicle.

Where it comes from

At 200 minerals and 30 required energy, the Aircraft pit also adds 30 supply capacity in build 23882143. The Mutant Creator of Flies costs 250 minerals, a difference of 50, but has a different production list and support settings. Their base HP are 400 and 1 000 respectively, so they are distinct aircraft-production buildings rather than interchangeable equivalents. The official scrap-workshop description fits the Rebels' balloon entry. The extracted comparison establishes costs, hulls and production links, not a later balance adjustment or equal battlefield value.

How it is actually used

The pit's 400 base HP exceed the Ball silos' 363, but that comparison does not determine how either survives a specific weapon. Its 30 energy requirement should be included when choosing a production site. More directly, its BuildComponent lists Battle Ball and its HealRange has explicit navigation and target filters. Place it according to the production and support functions you need, then verify which damaged units the healing component accepts. Supply contribution alone does not tell you whether the building is available at a particular point in a campaign or match.

How to beat it

The 450 HP total includes an initially empty reserve, and uniform 7 armour does not convert it into a fixed damage threshold. Removing the pit threatens its 30 supply contribution and the linked balloon production, but does not establish the fate of aircraft already present. The 200-mineral cost and 30 energy requirement describe its economy. Target selection should also consider its local healing function and whether it is the production site actually supporting the opponent's aircraft. The files do not justify treating its loss as an automatic end to all air operations.
