What it is

Flak records a replacement: “Replaces the Armored Car with the Vykhlop anti-aircraft mount.” In build 23882143, the upgrade’s explicit configuration link replaces the Armored car entry with ZU “Exhaust”, whose Russian name is ЗУ “Выхлоп”. The link is better evidence than a transliterated name alone. The correction dated 4 September 2026 established that the target exists in the extracted data. This is a change to available content at the production host, not proof that an existing scout instantly transforms for free. Consult both unit pages and the upgrade cost before comparing the two options.

Where it comes from

MLRS is another content-replacement entry in build 23882143; its target must be identified by configuration rather than by the name Topaz in a description. For Flak, the Armored car being replaced has 250 base hit points and 10 armour all round, with area-resistance coefficient −0.30. It costs 90 minerals and 5 population and takes ten seconds. A negative coefficient is a stored parameter, not a documented damage multiplier. The replacement link establishes which production entry changes; it does not establish the state of units already on the map.

How it is actually used

The Armored car has 250 base hit points and 10 armour. The replacement ZU “Exhaust” costs 200 minerals and 10 population, with 500 base hit points, a 300-point reserve, 30 front armour and 15 rear armour, plus area-resistance coefficient 0.30. Its combined hit points are 800; the scout’s 250 comparison is base health, not its total including reserve. The correction on 4 September 2026 established these records. The ZU can fire at ground targets too, but compare its weapons and production price rather than treating the health figures as effective health after armour.

How to beat it

The ZU has 500 base hit points, a 300-point reserve and 30 front armour, compared with the scout’s 250 base hit points and 10 armour. Area-resistance coefficients are 0.30 and −0.30; without a documented formula they do not decide whether artillery is efficient. The ZU’s 30 front armour and 15 rear armour make attack direction relevant. Prices of 90 and 200 minerals describe separate production options, not a proven conversion cost. Assess the anti-air role and actual weapons before redirecting pressure to ground units.
