What it is
The tower Security entry uses the description “Call in 6 security squads. They can help hold back the enemy or support an offensive. No supplies are required for them.” in build 23882143. Its linked effects differ from that wording: the Observation tower spawns three Riflemen squads, while the Observant sprout spawns four Worms groups. These are separate carriers with different summoned units, not copies of a single effect. The MCV uses a separate Security entry. Keep the official description and the recorded spawn lists visible together rather than choosing one as authoritative for every carrier; compare the individual tower pages.
Where it comes from
Build 23882143 contains a shared Security description but separate links for the MCV and towers. The tower effects name different units and quantities, so removing one carrier does not establish that every Security call has disappeared. A correction recorded on 4 September 2026 distinguished those links. It is a correction to this page’s interpretation, not a documented balance change. The Observation tower and Observant sprout pages show their respective spawn lists; the MCV Security page should be read separately.
How it is actually used
The official clause “No supplies are required” describes a supply exemption. It is useful context, but does not make the tower summons identical to the MCV’s or establish unlimited access to defenders. The actual spawned units depend on the carrier, and the call has its own cooldown and mineral price. The Bio bubble provides 60 population capacity; that is a separate building benefit, not a bonus granted by Security. Check the tower’s spawn list and current availability before relying on reinforcements to hold an exposed position.
How to beat it
Identify the tower before judging its reinforcements. Riflemen have 800 base hit points, a 500-point reserve, 2 armour and calculated infantry DPS of 50; Worms have 900 base hit points, a 50-point reserve and an area-resistance coefficient of −0.2. That coefficient does not establish amplified splash damage. The call costs 30 minerals and has a 300-second cooldown. The correction of 4 September 2026 concerns carrier attribution. Compare the tower and spawned unit pages rather than assuming every call places the same defenders.
